A lifelong area of discipleship
Become Like Christ
In the life of a disciple, God produces transformation by the power of the Holy Spirit. The goal is Christlike character formed by the Holy Spirit.
Am I becoming more like Jesus?
God’s purpose is not merely to make men more informed, successful, or impressive. He forms believers into the likeness of His Son. This transformation is God’s work by the Holy Spirit and produces a life of growing obedience, humility, love, and holiness.
Becoming like Christ includes honest repentance, renewed thinking, patient endurance, and the fruit of the Spirit. Growth is often gradual, but grace never leaves a disciple unchanged.
