A lifelong area of discipleship
Know Christ
The Christian life begins and continues with a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Am I growing in my love for Christ?
Christian discipleship begins with Jesus Christ—not with self-improvement, religious performance, or a cultural ideal of manhood. Eternal life is found in knowing the Father through the Son, and the Christian life continues as we walk in Christ by faith.
To know Christ is to receive the gospel, rest in His finished work, listen to Him in Scripture, respond in prayer and worship, and depend upon the Holy Spirit. These are not merely introductory concerns. Mature believers continue growing in love for Christ throughout their lives.
