Move at a thoughtful pace. Read each passage in its context, ask the Holy Spirit for understanding, act on what is clear, and talk about it with a pastor or mature Christian. The goal is faithful response, not fast completion.

Disciple-making shares biblical truth and a credible life marked by affection, example, and encouragement.
Practice
Invite the man to a meal or coffee and listen carefully to his story.

Open Scripture together
God’s Word—not personal charisma—is the lasting foundation for teaching, correction, and growth.
Practice
Invite him to read one Gospel with you and agree on a simple, repeatable rhythm.

Help him help others
Disciple-making aims beyond one relationship toward faithful spiritual multiplication.
Practice
Model a next step he can eventually repeat with another person, in connection with the local church.
